Visited Jaffa in Tel Aviv. Experienced the Tel Aviv night scene joined by by Aki Avni, one of Israel’s leading actors, Gideon Ruff, creator of “Homeland” Ninet Tayeb, the first winner of the Israeli version of American Idol, Joseph Cedar, winner of the best screenplay at Cannes in 2011 and Shirley Bouganim, one of Israel’s leading super models!

Overlooked a beautiful sunset in Tel Aviv. Briefing by Aluf Benn, the editor in chief of Ha’aretz news paper. Fascinating explanation on the Israel economy and political system.

Engaging and interesting. Met with the officers and pilots at the Palmach Air Force base. Visited the mystical city of Safed. Visited  Caesarea with school kids.Stayed at the David Intercontinental Hotel. Visited Haifa.

Wandering around the cobble stoned streets of Safed and explored the Artist’s colony. Learned about the history of the “City of Kabbalah”. Stayed at the Hotel Bayit Bagalil. Jeep in the Golan. Visited the wonderful soup kitchen in Tiberias. Lunch hosted by Lilach and Guy Ashtar  in their beautiful home in the Golan!

Overlooked the Western Wall and visited the Western Wall Tunnels. Visited the Yad Vashem. Touring Christian sites in the Old City, an insightful meeting with Ambassador Gideon Meir, and a moving visit to Meshi, a home for seriously physically handicapped children. Taking it all in with a falafel break in Town!
